Dr. Ing. Kenneth Ashigbey is the member of the Ghana Blood Foundation. He is the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Telecommunications Chamber.
Prior to his appointment, he was Managing Director of Graphic Communications Group Ltd. Before then he was the Chief Operating Officer for Multi TV, General Manager of JoyFm as well as the Chief Technology Officer of the group at different times. In between his time at Multimedia, he was also Managing Director of Optimum Media Prime, a media independent and marketing company. He left Fanel Ltd, a building services engineering company as a Senior Projects Engineer.
He holds a Doctorate degree in Business Administration at the Swiss Management Centre, He also has an MBA from the Leicester University (UK) and a BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He had his secondary education at St. Augustine’s College.
He is the convener of the Media Coalition Against Galamsey and an advocate of Media Freedom and campaigner against attacks on journalists and media workers in Ghana.
Ken has been donating blood since 1993 as a student at the university and continues to do so. He is passionate at contributing to increase voluntary blood donation in Ghana and ensure that we eliminate deaths due to the absence of blood at our health facilities
