Why give blood

You should give blood out of love for life and others, and as a civic responsibility. Blood needed for transfusion cannot be manufactured artificially. It must be given by somebody.

Giving blood is simple and not painful. After you have given blood, you are given fluids as refreshment while relaxing. This is to enable you go back to your normal activities. You also need to take in more water / fluids within 24 hours after giving blood to help make up the fluids lost in giving blood.
